What’s LanGeek all about?
It has been about 4 months since we started working on our new startup called LanGeek. Here I want to share the vision we have for this product and how we are trying to change this market.
What’s LanGeek All About?
LanGeek is a language learning platform that utilizes cutting-edge technologies like machine learning and NLP to support language learners. Our approach involves gathering data on users’ learning patterns and leveraging it to provide them with highly relevant educational content. By analyzing this data, we gain a comprehensive understanding of the learning process for all users.
Let’s illustrate this with an example:
When you begin learning a language, you typically start with a few words and expressions. As you progress, it’s essential for the platform to remember what you’ve already learned and present you with new and simplified content. We define “simple” as content that introduces only a small portion of new information, reinforcing previously covered material. Designing a one-size-fits-all platform is impractical since users have varying language proficiency levels and learning paces. That’s why we employ an AI-based system that dynamically delivers content based on users’ demands.
Meanwhile, our AI engine collects data to identify challenging areas for each user. By processing this collective data, we gain insights into the most difficult aspects of the learning process. For instance, we can pinpoint English words that pose spelling challenges and provide targeted support for mastering them. This data analysis also enables us to identify words that are particularly challenging for French speakers.
How Did We Develop This Idea?
Over the past four years, we have been deeply immersed in language learning and have received invaluable feedback from our B-amooz users. Through careful analysis of this feedback, we discovered a common need — a fully customizable language learning platform. However, we recognized that fully customizable platforms can be overwhelming and time-consuming for users. Our solution was to create an automated customization feature, ensuring that the platform always presents the right content to users.
What is Dynamic Content?
Dynamic content refers to content that adjusts and adapts to each user’s specific preferences and needs. An example of a well-known dynamic content platform is YouTube. Whenever you visit YouTube’s homepage, it dynamically curates a personalized list of videos that may interest you. This dynamic nature ensures that the content is uniquely tailored to every user.

It may either contain familiar material or overwhelm you with an excessive amount of new vocabulary and grammar. This inefficiency hinders the learning process.
